What happens if i stream at the wrong bitrate?

We currently do have a bitrate management system, however , in order to remove staff interaction it will now be completely automated.

Our terms and conditions do dictate that we have the right to disconnect a stream found to be over the bought bitrate, however to allow an over sight to be corrected we are introducing a penalty system.

The following will operate from the 18th of September.

Streams are checked every 15 minutes for the bitrate they are at.

If a stream is found to be over the bought bitrate a warning is sent out.

At the 2nd warning the stream is disconnected for 8 hours
automatically and no reinstatement by StreamSolutions Staff will occur untill contact has been made from the client acknowledging the problem

If a second/third/forth etc overbitrate disconnection occurs the penalty disconnection goes to 16/24/32 hours respectively.

*please note it is the customers responsibility to ensure that your djs are not overbitrate when using your servers and also uploading to your CDS Servers.
