How do i make a playlist so that i can have a manual order on my Content Delivery Server?

To make playlist create a file called "playlist.txt"

download & edit with note pad and re-upload to your ods space
eg
yoursonghere.mp3
yoursonghere.mp3
yoursonghere.mp3
yoursonghere.mp3

these file names must be exactly the same as the mp3's in your on demand space
and the quality of the mp3's must match the the server bitrate to make everything complete

be sure to turn off the auto playlist feature in your ods configuration in the stream panel or it will not use the uploaded playlist

do you have a service that allows me to rebroadcast a stream from another source? I have a link plus username/password to a stream but I am not sure if it is a shoutcast stream. I would like to basically rebroadcast that. I looke around your services the only thing that comes close is if I act like a shoutcast server and then relay that again using your service. I was wondering if you have anything that can bypass that step and directly relay whatever link I tell it to with username and password options. Thanks, MinJie

Unfortunately we do not allow restreaming of content with a username and password as it has been protected for a reason.

How do you set up multiple encoders on windows media encoder for streaming?

Multiple biterates can be established in Windows Media Encoder for the SAME publishing point by selecting the different biterate you need. However these will only be available on the same publishing point and the client connecting will determine which biterate to use.

If you wish to send multiple servers or publishing points, windows media can not do this and you need to find an alternative such as sam3 from spacialaudio.

how do i go on about royalities and liscences... is that included with the hosting?

How do you set up an intro file for an Icecast stream?

Intro Files are added in the stream panel under Server Configuration > Stream Servers

make sure that the Frequency and Channel settings in the stream panel are the ones you want your intro to be encoded at and the same settings should apply to the stream or issues will arise.

intro files are to no more than 1 Mb in size
